Cracking the Code: Getting In—and Staying In—Production Music

Navigating a Sustainable Career from All Sides of the Business

Breaking into production music is one challenge. Building a career that lasts is another.

Join veteran music supervisor, guitarist, songwriter, composer, and producer Tim Mosher, Emmy-winning composer, producer, and songwriter Edward Wohl, and award-winning composer and production music executive Timothy Andrew Edwards for an in-depth conversation about what it really takes to build a sustainable career in today’s production music industry.

This unique panel brings together three accomplished professionals who represent every major side of the business. From the perspective of the music supervisor selecting music for film and television, to the composer building a career through original scoring and production music, to the publisher and library executive overseeing one of the industry’s successful composer collectives, attendees will gain practical insight into how careers are launched, developed, and sustained over the long term.

Whether you’re an emerging composer looking for your first placement or an experienced musician seeking to expand into sync licensing and production music, this webinar explores the realities of today’s marketplace—from creative workflow and industry relationships to publishing, royalties, metadata, licensing, and long-term career strategy.
